Headlights won't turn off


The weird noise is the relay for the headlights. You need to locate the relays and replace them. They are in the fusebox that is under the hood.

I show the dimmer switch for the headlights being part of the turn signal switch in the column.
What switch on the dash are you talking about ?

The headlights and high-beam search lights on my 1987 Toyota land cruiser wont turn on. Is this a fuse problem? If so where is the corresponding fuse/fuse-box located? I've already look on the und


The left and right headlights are on different fuses. If both are not working, you need to check the fusible link, headlight relay, and the switch itself. See diagram below.

No highbeam


Is the headlight out?
Did you check the connections/wiring to the headlight bulb?
Did you check the fuse?

Is it just one highbeam?
Or are both highbeams on both sides of the car out?
