It's not the dimmer, maybe head light switch. The year helps.

SOURCE: 85 Toyota Celica GT Headlights problem

There is a knob beside the headlights under the hood, fairly good sized, looks like rubber and you can manually turn down your headlights. That happened to my 86 Supra last year and the sync was just off and once I turned them down they started working perfectly. Hope this helps

SOURCE: How do you replace the headlight bulb on a Toyota Corolla 2003

You can and it is not difficult, there are two bolts holding the top of the headlight to the body just over the radiator and a couple of screws holding the indicato in place, but you can access the back of the light fitting without doing so . It is a bit of a squeeze on the battery side.

What could be the problem for my exhaust brakes from stopping to work on my toyota dyna 1995?

The reason that exhaust brakes on trucks don't work is that the lever for the flap in the manifold is rusted and stuck. It may be that the cylinder that activates the lever is not serviceable or that it is not getting air/vacuum/power to work. Check the switch at the accelerator and the switch in the dash/steering column is operational

My 2000 Toyota Corolla headlights will not turn on during the night, and stay on during the day

Your Corolla has daytime running lights (DRLs). A photocell determines whether it is day or night. Your DRLs turn on automatically in daytime without you operating the light control ("headlight") switch. Your DRLs are actually your headlights on low beam. At night, the photocell senses it is dark and disables the DRLs. When you set the light control ("headlight") switch to HEAD, the head relay closes and the headlights should turn on. Since they don't, I suggest opening the engine room junction block and checking the 40A MAIN fuse and the 10A LEFT HEAD (UPPER) and RIGHT HEAD (UPPER) fuses. In engine room relay block 5, check the 10A LH-LWR HEAD and RH-LWR HEAD fuses. Replace any blown fuses and the headlights should be working normally again

Dashboard lights and tail lights don't work 95 toyota corolla

The circuits are on two different fuses, but both are controlled by the headlight switch. I would check for power at those fuses then at the switch.

Both headlights don't work, fuses and bulbs are fine.

There is a headlight relay in the fuse box located in the engine compartment, relay is towards firewall.
