You need a scan tool that can read BMW body codes. Best bet is have a shop read the codes for you and 99% of scanners do not do this function

SOURCE: Passenger seat belt light comes on when belt is buckled

It's approximately $350 as you were told even though you can see it lower. be sure to let it be fitted at a toyota garage.

SOURCE: don't know how to install a/c compressor belt

your best bet is to use some redneck engineering. if you dont have the proper tool (which is a bmw special tool) you will have to partially install the belt over the a/c compressor pulley and try yo get it as far over the crank pulley as possible. use a screwdriver to hold it and turn the engine over with the crank bolt and a ratchet. it can be a real pain. good luck. support your local bmw dealership

SOURCE: bmw z3 passenger seat goes forward backwards but

It can also be theseat motor since there is seperate motors for up/down & forward/backwards. You can test the switch to see if you are getting power to the connector on the motor by using a multimeter.

If there is power to the motor, I would remove the motor and give it a tap on the ground. Alot of the time the motor is fine, and the tap will free it up again. If it doesn't work you may be up for a new seat motor. Giving mine a tap solved the issue with mine.

SOURCE: rear passenger seat belt stuck forward. any way

Probably not you can try to get it to pull back in by pulling on it but of course i am sure you have tried this. The belt will need to be replaced. If you would like contact me and i will get you a good deal on the belt and installation instructions if you are wanting to do the repair yourself.

Thanks,

Chris

My passenger powered sports seat for 2005 BMW 545I will not move forward or back. The headrest will move. I do hear the motor when I press the swith but will not move

The motors' cables need to be replaced. The cables wear at the end (like speedometer cable type end) and only fix is to replace cables. Go to site : RealOEM.com. enter your vehicle info and you can see exploded diagrams of just about everything in your car.

Battery location on a 2005 BMW 545i?

The battery location for a 2005 BMW 545i is in the trunk. Open your trunk, and on the right side of the car (passenger), look for two black plastic screws (flathead fit) along the paneling. Use a flathead (from the tool kit amongst the trunk lid), or a paper-clip to turn both of these plastic screws 90 degrees, you should be able to pull these out with your fingers afterwards. The plastic screws hold in the protective paneling, you'll have to to lift up trunk-liner (covers your spare tire), then pull the paneling outwards; underneath, you'll find the battery and terminals.

Where the battery in my 525 is?

If it is a newer model, it is in the trunk under a panelif you have an older model, check underneath the rear passenger-side seat. For a jump, there is a positive contact you can use under the hood and of course connect the negative to the engine block.

Can't get to battery on 94 525i. I believe it is under the back seat but cannot remove the seat.

I found the owners manual and it says take it back to BMW!

Most other posts I found on the net say it is under the passengers side rear seat. But I guess that depends on if you have a right hand or left hand drive.
