What is throttle body service and fuel air/induction service?

done properly, throttle body service is removing the throttle body and cleaning it from all sides-a fuel/air induction service involves replacing the air filter, and using a cleaner to clean the intake chamber which is just past the throttle body-depending on the car, i would expect to pay anywhere from $75 to $200, tops.

Do i need to get my ecu remapped following the fitting of a k and n induction kit

no with air induction you should be fine. The computer will adjust fuel air mixture. When you add a different exhaust system is when people run into trouble. That changes back pressure and can cause the engine to run outside of computers control..

Fuel pump needs to be replaces on 2000 Chevrolet suburban, do I also need a new filter, relay and induction?

Do you know for sure that the fuel pump failed or do you have a bad relay? If the fuel pump relay is good no you don't need to replace it. The fuel pump unit comes with the sending unit and a sock filter. I would replace the inline fuel filter when you replace the pump. In line fuel filters need to be replaced every 36000 miles. If that filter starts to plug up it makes the pump work harder which leads to premature failure.

Where can I find the manifold supply air inlet of Honda CRV Gen 1 2001 model? Picture or diagram will be best! :)

Basically, the Honda CR-V intake manifold is designed to supply fuel and air to the cylinders of the engine. It is also known as a system of passages and the induction system?s inlet manifold. The combination of air and fuel is vital in the internal combustion process of the engine. Through it, the engine is able to produce power essential for the vehicle?s component and parts to function well. The mixture of air and fuel should be at all times consistent since any imbalance on the chemical composition will result to high level of toxic elements with its byproduct. Furthermore, this will cause poor engine performance and poor fuel mileage.

could be in need of a fuel induction system cleaning. This can cause your symptoms you describe by clogging the idle air by pass. Induction service should help and never underestimate a thorough tune-up; plugs. wires.fuel and air filter also distributor cap if equipped. Good luck

How do i know when to get a fuel induction service done to it.

That's trans service time. The fuel service is kinda a wallet flush in my opinion! Lots of people like to have it done, but you can do it. Clean out the throttle body with carb cleaner, and get one of those bottles of fule system/ fuel injector cleaners. That's about all the service at a shop will amount to. But it's your choice!
