SOURCE: what will happen if i accidentally put unleaded

it will ping and spark knock when you get to half a tank add premium if you here it spark knocking just accelerate and it should go away watch the temp gauge to make sure it dont over heat dont continue using regular unleaded it can hurt your engine / spark knock is a double explosion in the piston chamber and can damage the piston and or valves

What will happen if i accidentally put unleaded petrol in my 2004 carrera 4s instead of super unleaded?

The least that could happen is absolutely nothing. On the other hand, you could start to hear "Pinging", IE, Pre-ignition, AKA Detonation. This is when the compression is so high that the fuel explodes before it reaches the top of the stroke. My advice? Drain the gas. On such an expensive car, no need to play dice.

Can 94 jetta run on leaded or unleaded petrol

It is best to run this engine on unleaded petrol. A high grade unleaded will give you extra performance and cause no damage. Leaded fuel was designed for cars made in the 60's to 80's that had used softer materials in their cylinder heads, leaded fuel pro-longed cylinder head life and reduced pre-ignition. Unleaded fuels are a cleaner, safer fuel to use.

I use unleaded plus ALL the time for my car is that good or not good. whats the difference between regular unleaded, unleaded plus and super unleaded? which is best to use?

THE BEST THING IS TO USE WHAT YOUR SERVICE MANUAL CALL FOR. REGULAR UNLEADED 87 OCTANE - UNLEADED PLUS 89 OCTANE - SUPER UNLEADED 91 OCTANE. UNLEADED PLUS ITS OKAY. TO USE EVERY NOW AND THEN I WOULD USE 87.YOU CAN RUN 87 - 89 OCTANE.BUT DONT RUN 91 OCTANE ITS FOR THE HIGH PERFORMANCE ENGINE.
