Support the engine from the topside and then remove the 6 or 8 bolts below and get a new frame. a steel bar that supports the engine will span the opening under the hood between the core support and the cowl.

I need a sub frame or else my car won't pass inspection. My nephew wants to change it, replace it cause it's a $500.00 job.

You just have to make sure all the ball joints and tie rods are tight and it needs to have an alignment you will need a top engine support to hold up the engine and trans also safe jack stands or better a car lift

Sub frame rusted

If it's the Malibu, the subframe is only in the front, holds the engine and trans, the whole back from about the front seats is unibody. The whole structure is just sheetmetal welded together. If the front is solid you are OK the only risk is if you get rear ended in an accident.
It would be weaker with the rust, also the hole could let exhaust fumes enter the car if there were a leak in the exhaust or extended idling .

I have a 1998 Ford F-150, it has some kind of bumper mounted inside the frame near the front wheels. It's rusted and broke loose, what does it do and what's it for.

IT is a part of the chassis frame and is required for chassis strength and rigidity . If the rust is bad enough I would consider a replacement chassis from the wreckers as welding in parts will do more damage than good.

Rear suspention broke from the frame. how can it be fixed

It has to be welded. Be certain to leave the frame STRONGER than it was. If Rust caused this, you will need to substancially strengthen the frame, or it will be really dangerous.

Rear suspension rusted out and dropped body down on wheels i believe that the upper suspension bracketry has pulled away , the air sup. will raise it up agin but that is not safe. please help

your problem can be simple or it can be terminal u have to jack up vehicle and see exactly what went-- if spring and shock tab bracket broke off if upper frame broke/rotted ---most everything on frame can be replaced bolted/welded back on can get parts from salvage yards ,online and or dealer even frame can be channeled welded but it will be labor intensive if u weld or know a welder the parts are simple enough its the frame sectioning that will be ur costly problem if needs replacement good luck

The frame is rusted out. there are holes all theough it and i dont have much money.

The frame, or just the body? A rusted frame is dangerous specially if it has holes. Welding on them is not recommended cuz it will make the metal hard and brittle. You can't do anything with a rusted frame with holes on it.

Changing the windshield brackets on my wrangler .the old ones siezed up and broke when we attemted to change the windshield frame, which had rusted out on the bottom. Can't get the torx bolts to back out on...

Under the dash speaker is a lot of seam sealer(caulk). If you peel off the sealer you can get on the back side with a 1/2 socket or wrench. It is kind of tricky to do with the dash in but not impossible. You do have to remove the speakers.

I own a 2004 chrysler pacifica. when i accelerate i hear a noise like you just went over a small bump or hill in the front drivers side. could you tell me what that is and how much it is to fix. thank...

you need to get the motor mounts changed as i had the same problem before....two of them had broke so anytime my car accelerated or slowed down the transmission going through its gears would cause the motor to jump....i would recommend taking it to a mechanic
