Typically in my experience it is connected to the exuast under the car, not to hard to replace. Depending on the vehicle.

I had code po449 repaired and now getting code po171. emissions test done and it failed because of not enough mileage to reset all systems. Will this effect the emissions test after putting mileage

P0171 is an oxygen sensor code meaning the engine is running too lean You did not specify what year make model nor engine size. You may have a vacuum leak or a MAF sensor problem causing this issue. It can also be a defective oxygen sensor. The engine data should be scanned to isolate the problem by a qualified shop

Egr sensor

This sounds like a serious problem and I would take it to my mechanic...Check when EGR is not functioning correctly, during
emissions performance check, when vehicle fails
emissions test for NOx, or when codes indicate
trouble.

Po336 crankshaft position sensor A range / performance

Trouble Code: P0134

HO2S-11 (Bank 1 Sensor 1) No Activity Detected

Trouble Code Conditions: Engine started, engine running in closed loop at a speed over 3 mph for more than 2 minutes, and the PCM detected the HO2S signal stroke rationality was more than the threshold value (0.250 volt) during the Heated Oxygen Sensor Monitor test.

Possible Causes:

HO2S signal circuit is open or shorted to ground.HO2S has deteriorated, is contaminated or has failed.PCM has failed.YOUR HO2S SENSOR IS BAD,IT COST 80.00,USE EXACT FIT PART.EASY TO REMOVE,DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR,GET WRENCH AND REMOVE.5 MINUTES TO DO.Trouble Code: P0336

Crankshaft Position Sensor Performance

Trouble Code Conditions: Engine running and the PCM detected the number of CKP sensor signals counted (between the reference mark gap). did not equal the Actual number of available teeth (i.e., the CKP signals. were out or the normal window" of operation with the CMP sensor. signals okay).

Possible Causes:

CKP sensor signal circuit connections loose (intermittent fault).CKP sensor wiring harness has a connection fault (intermittent).CKP to Target Wheel "air gap" is incorrect.CKP sensor is damaged or has failed.Must remove to see.Trouble Code: P0440

EVAP System Malfunction

Trouble Code Conditions: Engine started, ECT sensor signal less than158?F at startup, IAT sensor signal more than 9.5?F, system voltage over 10.0 volts engine runtime 15-20 minutes at cruise speed, then returned to idle speed, VSS indicating 0 mph, load value 2.2 ms, canister load factor less than 4.0, fuel tank pressure less than 0.5" Hg, then after the Idle Control system and Fuel Trim had stabilized, the PCM detected a fuel vapor leak (as small as 0.040") in the EVAP system during the EVAP Leak Test.

Possible Causes:

Fuel filler cap damaged, cross-threaded or loosely installed.Small hoses or cuts present in the EVAP vapor hoses/lines.EVAP purge valve is damaged or has failed. Here you are the symptons.

P1684 - 1683 - 0135 - 0442 - 0455 error codes

P1684
It is not a fault code per say, it only indicates the battery has been disconnected or went dead in the last 50 drive cycles I believe.
P1683
This code refers to the cruise control speed servo power circuit is open or shorted. The power comes through a normally-on contact in the brake light switch. Use a test light or voltmeter to measure the voltage on the yellow wire / red stripe on the switch. If it's there, measure on the dark blue wire / red stripe. If it's missing there, the switch is defective. The voltage should go to 0 volts there when the pedal is pressed.
The rest of the fault codes are as follows.

P0135 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 1
Possible causes- Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1
- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1 circuit fuse
- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1 circuit open shorted to ground
- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) Help with thisTech notes The code means that there is a problem with the heater element circuit of the heated oxygen sensor. The control module monitors how long it take the sensor to warm up and start sending an adequate signal. The code is triggered when the sensor is taking too long to warm up. Water getting inside the heated oxygen sensor connector can caused the heated oxygen sensor fuse to blow. Before replacing the sensor, check for the condition of the heated oxygen sensor fuse and connectors. If the sensor and connector are OK, replacing the O2 Sensor 1 usually takes care of the problem.

P0442 CHRYSLER - Evaporative Emission Control Small Leak Detected.
Possible causes- Missing or loose fuel cap
- Incorrect fuel filler cap used
- Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to close
- Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap
- EVAP canister or fuel tank leaks
- EVAP system hose leaking
- Fuel tank leaking
P0455 CHRYSLER - EVAP System Large Leak.Possible causes- Missing or loose fuel cap
- Incorrect fuel filler cap used
- Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to close
- Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap
- EVAP canister or fuel tank leaks
- EVAP system hose leaking
- Fuel tank leaking Tech notes The P0455 it's a very common code, because the code is set if the gas cap is loose or missing. Start by tighten the gas cap and clearing the code. In most cases the code can be clear by disconnecting the car battery for about 30 minutes.

I have a 1998 Nissan Maxima GLE, I Failed the Emission Inspection (DTC) Diagnostic Trouble Codes of "P1492","P1105" What these Codes exactly? mean

A code P0300 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • Faulty spark plugs or wires
  • Faulty coil (pack)
  • Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
  • Faulty fuel injector(s)
  • Burned exhaust valve
  • Faulty catalytic converter(s)
  • Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages
  • Faulty camshaft position sensor
  • Defective compute
  • P1105MAP/BARO Pressure Switch Solenoid Valve
  • Check and clean the MAP sensor, or replace.
  • P1492EVAP Canister Purge Control/Solenoid Valve (Circuit)
  • Replacing the purge solenoid will clear code P1492 This should also clear code P0300 as well.

What does the code P11151 mean on a failed smog?

Lack of HO2S-21 Switch, Sensor Indicates Lean

A Heated Exhaust Oxygen (HO2S) sensor indicating lean at the end of a test is trying to correct for an over-rich condition. The test fails when the fuel control system no longer detects switching for a calibrated amount of time.needs an oxygen sensor.

Emissions egr came up on the computer test i replace it now oxygen sensor are coming up its has 4

a defective EGR valve will at time effect 02 sensor functions. But even though you vehicle does have 4 02 sensor. The DTC (diagnostic trouble code) will indicate which 02 sensor is faulty. ask the tech who performed the test on your vehicle to tell you which sensor has malfunctioned. or get the dtc code from him then google the dtc for your vehicle and you will have the answer to your question

Emissions

Sounds like it's not getting enough oxygen to burn all the hydrocarbons and carbon. Change out the oxygen sensor. Hope that helps. Is the air filter dirty? It might even improve things enough if you just change that.
