Hi, It is more than likely the interior sensor, it is in the roof panel if it is an MB factory alarm, or on the dash if not! you need to get it tested, if you can cover it with tape and set your alarm to see if it goes off,
hope this helps

Lock car with remote, walk away, alarm goes off. put car in garage locked, 4 hours later alarm starts

Sounds like the sensitivity is set to high. The dealership should be able to adjust that for free. Hope this helps

RS Focus registered yesterday 19th March Keyless entry but remote fobs do not lock or unlock car. The car was driven back yesterday hav ing now covered 114 miles alarm was going off last night but thats...

should not be using fob buttons for entry or locking for emergency only .if keyless entry walk up to car with fob do not press any buttons see if door opens then walk away from car with fob about 20m then go back to car without fob and see if door locked if so all working fine .indicators will not flash if the above dont work take back to main dealer for diagnostics keys may need to be reprogrammed

2004 Nissan Quest - alarm Waking the neighbors

If it's a cheap aftermarket alarm, check for a red wire coming off the hot side of your battery with an inline fuse. If it's not, try to locate the alarm "computer" under the driver's side dash or nearby your fuse panel. You'll find a black box with a wiring diagram glued to the side, normally strapped to a wiring harness or other fixed element. If this is the type of alarm you have, you'll need to trace each wire coming from the alarm computer and unclip each fastener that's clipped to your vehicle's factory wiring. The trouble with these types of alarms is that they tie in and get power from a number of sources (stereo, interior lights, etc.), so you'll have to trace and unclip 8-12 wires to fully disengage. Good luck!

How do I disalarm my 1997 VW Cabrio Alarm?

I have a similiar problem occasionally. In my 97 vw, it usually happens when the battery terminals are loose. I just take them off, clean them and reconnect and the problem goes away for several months.
