SOURCE: 2005 Nissan Frontier...when I step on the brakes

If the turn signal bulbs are the same as the turn signal bulbs it would indicate the brake light on the left is not working. If the brake lights AND the right turn signal come on it could indicate a wire is getting a cross feed from an improper source. If you are comfortable with electrical systems - If you have a tow package you may want to check the wires to the trailer. Otherwise have it checked by an electrical shop.

Could be one of a few things. Head light switch bad, hazard light switch/relay could be the problem or your turn signal switch.

Where is the blinker relay in my 2011 Chevy Equinox.

PCB Relays
This vehicle is equipped with the following printed circuit board PCB mounted relays.
• High beam
• Low beam
• DRL
• Fog lamp
• Park lamp
• Stop lamp
• Horn relay
They are directly soldered to the underhood fuseblock circuit board. A failure of one of these relays will require the whole under hood fuse block to be replaced.

Turn Signal/Hazard Lamps
The body control module (BCM) is responsible for controlling the turn signals and hazard lamps. When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left turn or right turn position, the BCM receives a signal from the turn signal switch. The BCM then sends an on-off voltage signal to either the left or right turn signals and their instrument panel cluster (IPC) indicator. When the hazard switch is pressed, the BCM receives a signal from the hazard switch. The BCM then will send an on-off voltage signal to all the turn signal lamps. All the turn signal lamps will flash including both IPC turn signal indicators.

Vehicles are just not the same as they use to be. Electronics !!!!!

Where is the emergency flasher relay located on 2013 Rogue?

Here is what the service manual says. Looks like it is not a flasher relay but a function of the body control module.

TURN SIGNAL AND HAZARD WARNING LAMP SYSTEMSystem Description OUTLINE Turn signal lamp and the hazard warning lamp is controlled by combination switch reading function and the flasher control function of BCM.
TURN SIGNAL LAMP OPERATION - BCM detects the combination switch condition by the combination switch reading function. - BCM supplies voltage to the right (left) turn signal lamp circuit when the ignition switch is turned ON and the turn signal switch is in the right (left) position. BCM blinks the turn signal lamp.
HAZARD WARNING LAMP OPERATION BCM supplies voltage to both turn signal lamp circuit when the hazard switch is turned ON. BCM blinks the hazard warning lamp.
TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR LAMP AND TURN SIGNAL SOUND OPERATION - BCM transmits the turn indicator signal to the combination meter with CAN communication while the turn signal lamp and the hazard warning lamp are operating. - Combination meter outputs the turn signal sound with the integrated buzzer while blinking the turn signal indicator lamp according to the turn indicator signal.
HIGH FLASHER OPERATION (FAIL-SAFE) - BCM detects the turn signal lamp circuit status by the terminal current value. - BCM increases the turn signal lamp blinking speed if the bulb or harness open is detected with the turn signal lamp operating. NOTE: The blinking speed is normal while operating the hazard warning lamp.

Hazard lights and signals dont work. fuses and bulbs are good

Most likely you have a bad relay. Relay's typically control more than 1 source or part, and you will usually find the relay inside of the Hazard switch itself. Call your local Nissan dealer and run that by them to make sure thats common for that model too. If so, picking up a new Hazard switch should be relativley cheap and easy!

Hazard and turning signal problem.

The flasher for both is located in the hazard switch it self, pull trim off around switch unplug and replace, part will be a dealer item only part place will not have this part.

Where's turn signal switch? on c280 1994 mercedes

The switch is the stalk assembly on steering column. The hazard switch is the relay(FLASHER). To replace switch r&r LF under dash and unplug 2 connectors at base of steering column(electrical). You will need a long t20 socket to remove airbag and then a 10mm allen to remove steering wheel. There are a series of screws to remove the c.c. switch steering airbag contact and blinker switch. I would recommend replacing the hazard switch first unless you are certain that the blinker switch is bad.

I need to know how to reprogram a keyless entry remote for a 2003 nissan frontier..

IMPORTANT: Before entering programming mode, have in possession all of the
transmitters you will be using on the vehicle. Once you program the
transmitter, all previous codes will be erased from the memory. The other
transmitters will not be functional until you program the transmitters
again.

1. Close and lock all doors with the driver's side power lock/unlock
switch.

2. Insert key into ignition and remove it from the ignition key cylinder
at least six times within 10 seconds. Your Hazard
Lamps will flash if you have performed this step successfully. NOTE:
Withdraw key completely from ignition cylinder
each time. If this procedure is performed too fast, system will not
enter programming mode.

3. Insert key into the ignition cylinder and turn to the ACC position.

4. Within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the remote transmitter. Your
Hazard Lamps should flash. NOTE: Do not press
the button more than one time in the above step. If the button is
pressed more than one time, the programming
procedure will not be successful.

5. If there are any remaining transmitters (including the old ones),
unlock then lock all doors using the driver's side
power lock/unlock switch and within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the
next remote. Your Hazard Lamps should
flash. Repeat this step for each transmitter (including any existing
transmitters).

6. Turn the key to the OFF position, remove keys from the ignition, unlock
doors using the driver's side power lock/unlock switch and open the driver
side door.
