Remove the under dash panel.

Locate the brake light switch assembly near the top of the brake pedal and disconnect the switch from the brake pedal by removing the retaining clip.

Use a small screwdriver to unlock the electrical connector, then unplug the connector from the brake light switch.

Reverse for installation. Should take an hour or less to complete.

I suspect there is a problem with the turn signal/ hazard switch. turn the turn signal on left or right, if it doesn't flash, grip the hazard button and gently wiggle it around, if the signals start flashing, replace the turn signal switch. The Brake lights are wired through the turn signal switch, if the 3rd brake light works, the brake switch is OK. I don't think it has anything to do with the anti theft system (at this time)

Brake lights wont come on but the third brake light works

There is a separate switch for the third brake light.
Put on your flashers to ensure that your brake lights are working.
Then first look on your gas pedal linkage to locate the brake light switch.

All of my lights work except my brake lights checked all the bulbs and need to know what fuse is for the break lights

go to autozone or advance and buy a brake light switch for it. or get a FoMoCo one at a dealer. It is mounted on the brake pedal arm above the pedal and just out of sight. you might have to get down on the ground and crawl up under the dash with a flashlight to see and replace it. do a search on www.youtube.com for "ford brake light switch". they will all be about the same for mid 90s ford products, might be some additional cosmetic panels you will have to take off on your car.

How do i change igniton switch on 1995 lincoln continental

turn the switch forward to the run position and then there is an access hole under the column to fit a 1/8 drill bit push up on the retaining pin turn the key forward and back and you can tell if you have the pin, return it to the run position and pull out on cylinder. If your looking to replace the switch its on the column and its easier to drop the column to replace it.

How do you replace the break line in a 1995 Lincoln Continental?

Humm.

Be certain that there is a full fluid reservoir and DO NOT let the Master cylinder drain of fluid, then unscrew the brake line and install the new one, check fluid level OFTEN, then bleed the air out of the system.

Replace rear brake light bulb 1998 lincoln continental

pop the trunk and right behind where the lights are pull the carpet down and their will be of the following depending on the trim.

You will either see the light sockets themselves that you can twist and pull to change the bulb, or you will see the plastic nuts/screws that you can remove to remove the entire assembly in order to access the bulbs.

If it's your 3rd brake light, the screws to access the housing are located in the upper part of the trunk
