When you say it fires, are you checking for spark at the plugs ? In most cases you have to figure out if it is spark, fuel, or compression to proceed. A mechanic would also check the computer for trouble codes but you would need a scanner or code reader to do that.
hi there
If you have fuel pressure the next thing you need to check is if you have spark if there is no spark it will not start hope this helps you thank you and have a great day
Hi, if your motor turns over ok & appears to be getting fuel, I'd probably check for spark by putting a spare plug in one of the leads & turning the engine over to see if it sparks, if it doesn't spark maybe it's your crank angle sensor/coil etc.
Do you have a "no start" based on fuel, ignition, or engine problems? All of these are required to be good to start an engine. Must check for spark at plugs. If o/k check fuel pressure at fuel rail.If o/k check engine copression.
two things come to mind....
1- a electrical component may be heat sensitive and not function after turn off heat soak
2- your fuel pump check valve isn't holding fuel pressure in the fuel loop
Next time check for spark...if thers's spark it's a fuel problem
