I have a 1999 ford 350 econoline with a dead engine. I don't think it is the battery. How hard is it to change the starter myself?

Starter is not to hard at all..

After disconecting the battery,, there is a few wires that you disconect from the starter.. Then there is 2 bolts that hold the starter in..
Thats it really..

Its pretty simple get a jack and jackstand to support the van locate the starter take out the two or three bolts drop the starter remove the cables and wires make sure you mark your wires so you know how to put them back on bolt the starter back on and your done. Good luck
