First check the fuses, back probe a injector with a led trouble light for voltage pulse , if no voltage trace the cable back to the ECU check every join on the way including the ECU connecting plug.

Yup. Fuel supply problem. Could be a number of things. Check if the injectors are clicking when you crank. no click, no power to the injectors, problem with sensors data to the Ecu. If click, that part is not the problem. More likely Fuel pressure regulator is bad, not enough pressure, or fuel pump relay which controls the fuel pump. So either may be bad or connections are bad or wires cut. Fuel filter may be clogged. To test th fuel pump, you can jump from the battery positive to pump terminal for a short time to verify the pump is good. so then connections at pump, or from the fuel pump relay or it's connections to the ECU. Most disastrous may be the Ecu itself. Other sensors to the Ecu could contribute, but usually with code problems including sensors it goes into a "limp home" mode. overriding bad sensor inputs. If somehow you can get the error codes read at auto parts store, that may give you more clues than I can guess at. Good luck, hope this helps you out.

Getting no power to fuel pump fuse no power to ignition fuse

no engine stated.!

fuses good,? 12vdc on both sides key on?

spark good on all cylinders.??????????

this is first. not fuel, fuel is dead last.

if above is ok the engine runs on test fuel.

if the engine runs for say 3 seconds on test fuel, and SOUNDS

great, that means the spark and engine are ok, leaving>?

easy , right?

if true all that, then the scan tool is next.

wont buy one,? like most here? (you cant fix cars with no scan tool)

make up or buy a NOID lamp. (a small 12vdc lamp)

see if the injectors are all firing.

if not, the PCM is cutting fuel.

if the injectors fire (electric pulse) then it may be fuel relay not closing.

did you check for 12vdc (11vdc min) at the pump? cranking

you must crank it and check,

there are 3 kinds of cars. (we assume last)

1: pump runs keyon, full time, (illegal now)

2: pump runs for 3 seconds, and stops keyon, (for priming only)

3: runs only cranked, (most cars) and runs running engine.

see that logic there?

some cars cut pump and injection with no spark. ( to cut fires)

this logic is inside the PCM brain, called firmware.

just assume the car is smarter and use #3 above. on all cars

and I win..

the scan tool will show errors cranked for 5 seconds.

does it?

now why i cant leave generic help and answer specifcially

no engine stated.

to fix them you need to know whats there, first.

the line up

1.4 L E-TEC I4 (petrol)

1.6 L E-TEC I4 (petrol)

1.8 L Family II I4 (petrol)

2.0 L Family II I4 (petrol)

2.0 L RA 420 I4 (diesel)

next time post the engine in your car.

open hood , look up see EPA sticker there and engine type?

I have a dodge stratus 2000 with 2.4 liter dohc motor, ran fine then stalled once started right no spark will not start

Try using one of the old plugs and connect it to #1 and a good ground then try starting to visually confirm if spark is/is not present. Its much easier to see the spark in the dark. If you get a spark the problem is not electrical and could be a bad ground between the plug and the block, rarely happens, but not unheard of.

3 rear cylinders not firing

Check the grounds from the rear injectors to the computer. On a bank fired system as yours, all 3 injector grounds on each bank splice together before they go into the computer. Check wire continuity from injector to the computer connector with the ohmmeter.

02 wrx i have code p1507 and i have injector 2 has a pulse while cranking but goes away once the car is running?

How are you checking the voltage to the injector? The injector voltage at idle is hard to determine with a convention test light.

92 ford probe with two cylinders dead one on each side. i do get spark, fuel, and compression. but i dont get fuel in the cylinder but the injectors are not clogged.

Check the pulse on the two injectors.Purchase a noid light at the parts store, that will fit the injector harness, see if the noid lights will flash,if they do,then replace the injectors, this would be the only thing it could be.If the noid light is not puling,or flashing, then the computer is the problem, seeing it is the distributor of the pulse on time.

The pistins 4&6 are not firing?

1. Check the spark output at the failing cylinders. A minimum of 30kV should be present during cranking.

2. Check the injector operation with a fuel pressure gauge and a compatible scan tool. Monitor the fuel pressure for losses at key off, 75% of max pressure should be present after 40 minutes, pressure should drop off slowly. Using the scan tool actuate the injectors with the Automatic Test Mode (ATM) tests, this will pulse the injectors with just the key on. Listen for the "click" on each cycle (the injectors are pulsed very rapidly and may not pulse a noid light).

3. Check the compression on the cylinder, running compression will help verify internal mechanical problems. With a cylinder leak down test less than 10% leakage should be seen.

1. Check the wiring harness from the injectors and MAP sensor for melted insulation in the section covered by the protective outer sheath.

2. Cut the heat shield enough to remove the wires from the inside. The insulation often melts and the wires can short together. Repair as needed.

3. If the sensor ground shorts to any of the wires with B+, the sensor ground will be damaged in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Replace the PCM only after verifying that the wire harness is OK.

Mazda MX-6 v6. One clyinder is not firing. Spark

Switch it with another and check if the miss follows the injector.
Also you should check for a voltage pulse at the missing cylinder injector connector.

1987 cressida missing

Start with testing the injectors for pulse. Get a NOID light they sell the at almost any auto parts store remove in get plug from injector and plug the noid light into plug look for constant steady (pulse)lighting of noid light. Check all six injector on your strait 6. If all is good remove parke plug wire on at a time from cap and look for increased shaking and less when it replaced(Make sure to use wire puller with rubber insulation to avoid being zapped by spark from coil) Note cylinder with no difference or change when wire is removed. Those would be the problem cylinders. Then get a compression guage and check all cylinders for compression by removing spark plugs and attaching guage to each cylinders, make a not of each cylinder's reading. NOTE THEY SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN 10 PSI difference in cylinders. Make note of low compression cylinders if any. If compression is good all around spark plugs are good, good ignition wires and you have good pulse pattern from you noid light. The only other problem is BAD INJECTORS and those would be the ones that didn't change when you took off the wires. I have work on these old cressida alot my self. Good Luck contact me if you need more help and if I solve your problem leave me a FIX-YA comment.
