Check to see if you can see or hear the rear wiper motor running.
If the motor is running you can tighten the bolt, look under the wiper arm pivot point .
If the motor in not running, look under the dash on the drivers side for a blown fuse or bad wiper motor relay.
Hope this helps.

Im working on a 1999 Honda passport v6 4wd. The rear wiper motor doesnt work, I replaced the wiper motor with a new one. Still doesnt work. I inspected the wiring and found no physical damage. The rear...

Richard, I am actually going through some troubleshooting with the rear wiper on my 98 Passport. Mine runs . . . it just doesn't stop where and when it should anymore. There are some Rodeo/Passport enthusiast sites that have some threads on this. Many of them refer to replacing the Alarm Control Module (where the wiper relays are) or just removing/replacing the bad relays on the board if you know how to solder.

I've never soldered before in my life, but I replaced the relays on my Alarm Control Module the other day. Unfortunately it did not fix my problem--so I may have a bad motor or switch. But it might be worth a shot to look at the relays as your next item. It took me a couple hours to do it, but it wasn't too terrible once I figured out what I was doing.

Here is a link to the forum that helped me:

You might be able to find a workshop manual online.

Rear seat conversion on a 98 honda passport 4wd

Hey I have the same vehicle. You have to tug it really really hard to pull up the seats. It does feel like its locked, but it isn't. It is just really tight. Once you pull the seats up a few times it will loosen up.
