Question about 1999 Chevrolet Suburban
Some thing to think about both have different types of computer coding, wiring harness, are the motor mounts in the same place, is 1 a stick shift, or automatic, are you using the motor the motor with the original transmission for that motor, or our you switching just motors if so than you will need a converter for the transmission,
is emissions the same for each model (I DONT THINK SO) EMISSION are set up differently, the linkages for each vehicle may be different, smog setup will different depending on the year it was made. will the rear ends line up, is the drive train, or drive line the same or different, wheel base the same, will your new frame support the motor weight. will the header rub on the finder wells, after install the new motor will you be able close the hood, the air clean will not allow you to close the hood. will the stir wheel line up. brake lines in the same location, all the fluid contains in the same location and will the new body configure for the motor mounting and alignment of all the equipment the old car had or did not have.
just some thing to consider before doing this project.
