White smoke from tail pipe means car has over heated and you a blown head gasket. Try a bottle of Bar's head gasket repair. Special instructions it must poured direction into radiator by remove cap or poured into top radiator hose. "DO NOT POUR IT INTO THE OVERFLOW TANK, AGAIN DO NOT POUR INTO OVERFLOW TANK"

The white smoke is coolant burning, a cracked head or head gasket would cause this.

SOURCE: smoke problem

Sounds as though you have water in the oil. The white smoke is the steam. Check your oil by taking the dip stick out and if it looks like mayonnaise then your head gasket will need replacing. Once the head is off the engine block, there is no way safely to say how much work will be needed on the cylinder head. If the head gasket has blown then you will need to fit a new timing belt also.

White smoke Audi 2.0 non turbo is this connected to excessive oil consumption is a 60k mile engine A4 reg 2001.

White smoke is usually coolant burning, but you say no loss of coolant, so must be oil burning. PCV is possible fault, especially since you say smoke is intermittent. Part itself should be cheap, less than $20. One your car I believe it is located in a pipe running from intake to valve cover.

White smoke is usually steam, or the engine is burning water. Most common cause would be either a blown head gasket or a cracked head.

Loss of power and acceleration on Mazda 6 Turbo diesel 2003

I'm assuming that that smoke was more previlant while going uphill because that's when the turbo would be really spolling up to max psi. I would guess that if you really got on the gas hard and got the turbo going even on a flat surface, that you would notice the smoke too. The loss of power and the white/grey smoke are tell tale signs that your turbo is bad or starting to fail. Good luck!
