Unlikely. Especially if not accompanied by signs of infection like fever rashes etc.

All or any tick bites need not give infections. Fear of not knowing can change your moods. If there are no signs of infection like rashes fever etc it’s unlikely you are sick. However some infections may take longer than 2 weeks to manifest.

The sting itself is fairly obvious and is now probably gone if you can't see it, but do take care to look around inside the mouth. So close to the mouth and throat is a concern though. If you are able to access one without undue expense, take the child to an emergency dept or doctor and watch carefully for any signs of swelling in the tongue, throat and airway.

Also ask about the possibility of sensitisation and allergic reaction to future stings. All the best with this.

allergic reaction to this drug is very rare. But in some cases people get rashes and swellings in throat,face and tongue. sometimes people also feel dizziness. Some people uses ayurvedic medicine instead of this drug. I suggest to use ayurvedic or sidha drug instead of parocetomal.

Please do yourself and your child a favor and call a doctor. It won't be scarlet fever, but I think it is more than an ordinary cold.
