John...after you changed the crank sensor & cam sensor you say it will not crank. Did you mean it turns over & still will not start? If it still turns over, remove a spark plug to see if there is fuel deposited on the spark plug electrode. No fuel means that fuel supply is the problem. If fuel is present, then spark is the problem.
Too many questions need to be answered here.
How did the engine run/sound/feel the days prior to stalling?
When was the last time you changed the fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter? As a start, I recommend checking the electrical wiring for visible breaks, shorts, green disease, including battery terminals. Also look for bad or broken grounds to the chassis. All of these can prevent proper & minimum voltage getting to fuel pumps, relays, injectors & can cause a failure. The fact that the fuel pump & relay are buzzing, we can presume that this circuit could be overloaded, tripped or even shorted or not grounded. Did you try removing the fuel pump relay and testing for continuity between connected terminals? If tests Ok, then fuel pump is likely the cause. Have you ever run out of gas and needed to jerry can fill it? Running out of fuel or very low on fuel lets the fuel pump in the tank overheat reducing its life. To test the fuel pump, means testing fuel pressure and proper tools are needed to disconnect the line at the correct location and attach a pressure gauge. In the old days prior to the 80's, fuel pressure was in a range of 4 to 10 lbs. Today it could be as high as 30 to 50 lbs. Your vehicle engine specs will tell you how much it should be. A fuel pump that produces as little as 5lbs less than the spec. will not allow the engine to start.
Need more specific info. Is there fuel supply tothe injectors? Is it getting spark? Do you have a alarm/anti-theft device? Some of these will kill power to the engine in the event of theft. If you have spark but no fuel pressure then the aSD relay may be bad or tripped. Find the rest button. If no spark check coil pack.

I had the nobus come up on mine when the pcm was bad.
SOURCE: 1998 dodge neon. Engine tries to start , but won't catch.
well it sounds to me as if the timing bet as jumped its time, mabe not much a tooth or two. but thats all it would take to make the car want to start, but it wont let the car fire properly.

There are to many things that can cause the no start. Here is a link that can help you understand the possible problems and links to how to retrieve the DTC codes which is activating your Auto Shutdown relay.
Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted

Find your firewall electrical junction block (where all the wires enter the cabin on the passenger side) and with a zip tie pull up the wire bundle so it does not ride on the upper tie rods and, fasten the zip tie to anything that is solid in the engine compartment and, let me know what happens

I have this same NO START problem...
Began with tach giving readings not exceding 1200 rpm with strange 4000 + spikes.. Cruse control would not turn on or off at times and indicator light would only work sometimes..Had several episodes of excessive cranking to get it to start.. Stalling out while driving and even at freeway speeds.. Pulling the negative cable for 10 min. allowed it to start although with lots of cranking and put it in limp mode which required another computer reset to get out of.. Had thrown error codes related to cam and crank sensors which were replaced along with coil and manifold temp sensors.. Had the 9 volt power to sensors when key was on but the check engine light does not stay on with all the other idiot lights..
I wish people who respond would read the post first..
Original post states,
Cranks,No spark,No fuel pump run, changed some sensors ect...
If it cranks it ain't the neutral safety switch, starter or battery!! WAKE UP!!
Seems the computer is not turning on the coil, injectors or fuel pump for a reason.. Find that reason and you will find the solution to the problem.. Seeing as that the computers logic states are a dealer secrete the poster as I have changed many parts in blind hope that it will fix the problem.. Relays, sensors and ecu computer.. Did a visual check of all harness potential wear spots like where it crosses over the power rack..
Could it be in the wiring harness inside the dash??
Could it be a bad ground??
Can an alternator that has failed cause the computer not to start??
Can a bad oil pressure sensor cause the computer not to start??
Can signal loss from the TCU or BCU to the ECU cause this??
Is there an undocumented kill if the ECU thinks it was in an accident??
I can ground the relay line from the ECU and the fuel pump runs and pressures up and the other relays turn on as well..
This crank but no start problem seems to be common with a lot of 1994-2001 Dodge and Chrysler owners.. All these systems have become interlaced with undocumented safety features that baffle the DIYer..If you have seen this and have fixed it PLEASE RESPOND!!!!
