Found this info, hope it helps. Front of crankshaft. I'm not sure why the info said neutral? Safely raise and support the vehicle. If automatic tranny, I would want it in park and functional parking brake set. Block the wheels. Anytime your working around or under a vehicle, there are safety issues. Safety is your responsibility.
you need to check the fuses first if ok,then take the door card pannel off and see if when you press the switch there is power to the window motor,if so then you might have to replace the motor.hope this was some help.
It is not necessary to remove the instrument panel to change the heater core. Remove the center panel. You will be able to see several 8 mm 5/16th head screws.that holds the lower housing together. These screws are hard to get to but I have done it several times so I am sure you can do it too. When replacing the lower cover be sure that you align the tongue and groove to insure there is no condensation leak when using the AC.
Check cam sensor, or inertia switch. It cuts off power to coil packs in the event of a crash. Also check fuel pump and fuel pump relay. Most Fords are wired to were if the fuel pump won't pump, it won't spark either. It's a safety measure that Ford builds in.
try advancing the spark a little bit.turn the distributor about 10 degrees against the rotation of the rotor.try that.if motor starts surging at say 2000 rpm ,youve advanced it too far.
