Hi Jose:
I'd be looking for a bad head gasket. If the coolant is getting into the engine oil, the oil level will get higher, and the oil will be milky coloured from the coolant. Have you done a compression test? Is there a lot, and I mean A LOT of water vapour coming out of the exhaust? Head gaskets can fail in different places and give different symptoms, but the bottom line is that the engine will need to be dismantled and the head gasket replaced. If the engine has overheated during this problem, the head may be warped. Your engine is not happy.

2002 dodge ram 1500 motor has a little knock but drives good and doesnt run hot. Bought it from a man he said he ran it hot one time and now it has oil and water mixing. What do u think will fix it

Probably another engine.
Since you don't know why it got hot in the first place, it would be impossible to know what is damaged now.
The knock is probably from lack of lubrication because of the contaminated oil. And that would mean all of the bearings are worn. And a leaking head gasket or cracked head could allow coolant into the oil.
If it has more than 90,000 miles on the engine its probably not worth rebuilding if it needs all of the bearings replaced plus the cause of the leaking oil/coolant repaired.

Oil in the radiator

oil in the radiator is from a failed transmission oil cooler that is in the radiator tank. You will also have water in the transmission oil as when you shut off the engine the coolant pressure may enter the oil lines through the crack in the cooler.

2003 Nissan Maxima SE 6 Speed oil in coolant overflow bottle. HELP

The big question is - is the car worth fixing to you.
If it is paid for, and you are ok with driving it for another 2 or 3 years, it may be worth fixing. If you are getting tired of driving it, maybe not.
You can find out what it is worth and then decide.
Oil in the coolant with a manual trans car usually means oil from the engine. That can be from any number of places, from a head gasket, intake gasket, a cracked head, and so on.
It may also have an engine oil cooler that runs thru the radiator that could be leaking somehow.
Oil in the coolant is not a major issue by itself, but if it is coming from a gasket or crack it will get worse and cause other major problems over time.

1989 Chevy S10 Blazer 4.3L V6 Automatic: Massive coolant leak occurred after letting truck sit for about 30 minutes after running it for around 1 hour. Coolant steadily flowed from what appears to be on...

Check the bottom side of the water pump for wetness, as well as the lower radiator hose. The water pump if leaking, will run the coolant down the front of the motor, and can appear to be coming from the top of the oil pan. It is nearly impossible for the top of the oil pan to leak coolant.

Thick black oil in coolant expansion tank

that sounds really serious there shouldn't be oil anywhere in or near that, sounds like you could have a cracked head gasket which will cause oil to leak into coolant and coolant to leak into the oil, if u can drain the sump oil and see if there is water in the oil if so you've got a big problem and is really hard to replace if you don't know anything bout dismantling engines and unfortunately it can cost up 2 a couple thousand to get a mechanic to fix

Automatic - overheating blowing coolant out of rad cap and expansion tank. Fan working OK. No oil in water, although quite rusty coloured. Oil level OK and no increase or decrease on dipstick. All clear...

Most likely the thermostat is sticking. Get the system flushed (get that rusty liquid out of the system), replace the thermostat & put in new coolant. Should fix it.

OIL IN ANTIFREEZE

Everyone automatically assumes that oil and water mixing means a blown head gasket or cracked engine block. Of course common sense is usually not that common. Oil in coolant is a different problem than coolant in oil. The former is a low pressure leak, and could indicate only an intake manifold gasket. It could also be an early or small head gasket leak. Coolant in oil is usually a cracked block or torn head gasket, and has concomitant symptoms of white exhaust smoke and milky oil on dipstick. If you replace the head gasket and the problem persists, an intake gasket could have fixed the problem.
