I have run into to this problem many times on these trucks, i have seen your problem and also where the 4wd high light wont work but 4wd low and 2wd work fine and the 4 wheel drive works fine. on your truck i will bet its the transfer case selector motor. the motor is what turns the lights on when in the selected mode which goes through the 4wheel module under the dash, this sounds like a bad selector motor and that where i would start. this motor is located on the transfer case, it bolts to the rear of it.here is a picture of it to help you locate it. good day.
Hi, the system will need to be scanned for trouble codes in the transfer case control module to know what the exact problem is for sure, but normally on this vehicle, one of two problems. Either the encoder shift motor is bad or the transfer case control module is at fault. Without scanning not much you can do here, there is one thing you can check, this vehicle is somewhat know for water instrusion in the tccm. Remove the tcm and unplug the connectors and see if you see any signs of mositure, the connector may appear green in color, this would be a sign of water intrusion. The tcm is mounted behind the passenger front kick panel...
this is your check engine or service engine soon light or mil {malfunction indicator lamp} your ecm has detected a fault in the systems it monitors and should have a diagnostic trouble code stored you will need to hook to a scanner /code reader and read codes this will tell reason light came on and loss of power if you have a auto zone nearby they provide this service free of charge
Look the part up on napa on line,it will show a picture of it.Most of the time the cables break, and can not be repaired,so you have to replace the whole window regulator.Look at the dome light, and activate the window switch,if the dome light dims, just a little, then the motor is getting power, but it can still be the motor ,or the regulator binding. If the dome light does not dim,at all,it is most likely not getting power to the motor, but not always.Sometimes the slamming of the door will make the window start working again,if the brushes in the motor are bad,or the bushings .
begine with a test of the motor first,do this with a test light, under the glove box is your blower motor, turn the key on and heater fan and defrost, now ground the test light to a good ground and test the wires to motor,if you have power replace the motor.
Fuel gauge, is fuel sending unit or gauge itself.
Air bag could be a faulty clock spring, bad bag, bad module, or something else. Air conditioner I would need to know what is not working right to elaborate on that.
Check your fuses. If you have a test light, unplug the blower motor, start the car, turn the fan on, if you have power to the blower plug, the blower motor is bad. If no power, if it's not a fuse, check the blower motor resistor. Should be mounted right next to the blower motor. It is inserted into the evaporator box
