SOURCE: replace valve cover gasket

I have the same problem on a 2003 Town & Country. The cover for the front 3 cylinders is quite straight forward, but in order to do the rear cylinders I believe you are going to have to remove the cowling below the windshield. You will need a gear puller to remover the windshield wipers first, then remove the cowling. Than should give you more room to work. It's still not going to be easy, but it sure beats paying hundreds of $$$$ in labor charges.

For the 2.8L there is no sequence. Torque for the bolts are 105 in.lbs.

For the 3.0L torque is 50 in.lbs. in sequence:

For the 3.3L and the 3.8L, no sequence but torque each bolt to 105 in.lbs.

I just replaced the gasket of the transmission pan and still have a leak on my 1999 chevy suburban?

The leak is coming from the pan ??
Maybe the leak is traveling to the pan seal area from somewhere else ?
Did you scape off the stuck-on old gaskit on trani and pan ?
Its customary to use gaskit sealer on both sides of the new gaskit..
