It should be behind the Air Conditioning Compressor on the block area. Disconnect neg battery cable. make sure you have your radio code before you disconnect the battery if applicable. You will have to remove the splash shield, Belt on A/C unit and move the Air Conditioning Compressor back to get to the switch. You also may need a special socket to remove the switch. Hope this helps. Thanks Greg

I have heard sludge buildup can be an issue with Dodge engines in Durangos. Make sure sludge is not blocking oil flow and reducing pressure.

The oil pressure sending unit is located behind the oil filter, Threaded into an aluminunm housing. It has wiring that plugs into the sending unit. The oil filter has to be removed and you will need a deep well socket and a 6 inch extension. Change the oil and the sending unit together.

Hi there;
Your looking foer the oil pressure sensor on the 2004 8.1L.
You will find it located directly behind the EGR valve threaded into the block just to the drivers side of the center bolt for the transmission to block connection.
Thanks

I don't know if this will help anyone, but i had a issue with my jeep running hot and check engine light coming on as well. After alot of trips to different shops - the last one found that there were two senors in the engine for the fan that need to be changed. Everyone would aways fine the one up top but not the second one. After that, have not had any other problems like it since.
