I have ion saturan 2005 ..............my side lights are fine but not signaling when i take right or left on the way or intersactions.....................what should i do....give me guideline pls.....

Did you replace the bulb in the passenger side running light/turn signal socket? There are two filaments in that bulb, one for the running light (which you indicate works) and one for the turn signal. If that bulb (filament) is burned out, it will make the turn signal flash faster. I don't know why you were swapping headlights, don't know where the fire box under the hood is, and don't know what a jumper sore is, so can't help you any further. I have a Saturn Ion, and have never found a fire box or jumper sore in it.

You have a bad ground on the left side. Use a jumper wire on the ground wire near the socket on the left side. If the lights start to work normally than trace the ground wire back to its body connection and repair

Suggest you check the power steering fluid level. May be running low. Prolonged operation at low level can damage the unit.

I think you may suspect the hazard (4 way flasher) switch at this moment. The indicator wiring goes thru the Haz switch as standard because of the system requirments. Either a loose plug connector or improper reset hazard on / off position at switch. Good luck

is this the left side front that is the only light that will not light?

It will be attached to the frame recessed into a nook on the drivers side just forward of the gas tank.

U WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH TO CORRECT THIS

Either one of your theories is possible. In either event, the steering wheel will have to come off and the assembly inspected/tested.
