I kitten is stuck up in the wheel well of my car and it is underbody is all sealed. I can hear it mewing around the glove box area. Any ideas how to remove the wheel well cover, or maybe the glove box- if it opens to the motor? Thanks so much!

- Thanks- I wish it were so easy! It drove around town for over 3 hours and was still in several hours after parking at home. Everything is sealed with a cover and it must be tight and closed with not much manuevering room or exits. Kitten is only about 5 weeks old.
Seriously, you should call the fire dept. They will help get the kitty out. The glove compartment on most newer cars are afixed to the dash on the inside, so that may not be the route to take. You should be able to see the wheel well fascia screws by turning the wheels to the far right or left. They are accessible usually, once again, depending on the car. If you remove the right front tire, you will have better access to the screws.
I have had mice get to the fan blower in mine. I assume it came through the fresh air intake around the bottom of the front windsheld.
I removed mine by removing the blower housing while trying to see why it was so unbalanced. Turned out that the squirrel cage blower had caught the mouse just right and removed his head and it was stuck in the blower and the rest of the body was on a ledge above it.
In order to help you we would need the make, model and year and we could tell you, there are screws that hold the inner fender well on and each car is a little different. If you have to cut the plastic and then buy a new inner fender about $30.00 other wise Call the fire department.
