My chevy small block V-8, has an engine ID of T0429HCR. it is a 327, can you tell me what horsepower version it it? Thanks!

Well, that number is not on my list.
T stands for the Tonawanda plant
0429 means the build date was April 29
HC would be a 1965 327 full size car 275 hp
HR would be a 1965 327 Vette 300 hp
HCR could be something built after 1971 but I can't find it on that list either.
The casting number might help.

Small block chevy id v0313frs

Are you sure you have the correct engine model number? What is the year and the make of the car? That makes a big difference as the 305 is a later model engine.

What is the torque setting for the valve covers on a 327 chevy engine? Its on a 1967 Chevy Impala but not original motor. Thanks!

The torque spec on the valve cover bolts is 3 ft pounds or 36 inch pounds.
This spec is good for all Chevy small blocks.
