Shifting rough, as in, when you put it in reverse or drive it hits hard? Shutters? Slips? Time for a rebuild or get a good replacement.

When I put it in gear than first to second but than runs good except twice now I lost power but truck stayed running wasn't out gear felt like it wasn't getting fuel, NO slipping of transmission tho just hits hard

Always start with the cheap stuff. Replace the fuel filter and remove the air filter. See what happens. Beig an 86, you could have a vacuum modulator on the back end of the transmission. On the passenger side. Only thing back there that has a hose going to it. If the hose is bad or the modulator is bad, this can cause hard shifts( high RPM's). Something to look at.

The truck exhaust the batery and the computer says it is the transmicion sensor p0705

theres 2speed sensors 1on the trans the other on the rear punkin, these sensors will cause your truck to shift hard, take along time to go in gear, serge while driving, run rough, these sensors also control your fuel ratio and timing, speedometer, and when the trans should shift

What is a rough shift

A rough shift is exactly what it implies. The shifting of gears should be a smooth transition. Rough shifting causes jerking, gear chatter, and undue strain on the components.
