Check for spark and fuel pressure

Some cars if you dont have fuel pressure it wont have a spark , start simple , check your fuses in side driving compartment first , if no spark or run check under hood fuses , and go from there .
So many times i have started pulling my hair out thinking it was something terrible and it was a cheep fuse in the dash panel .

Here's a link to a video that mite help you ! Eric the car guy is a automotive Technician. You need to first find out what is missing , fuel or spark and if your engine is sound ! Then once you find out what is missing you will need to test the ignition or fuel system to see why it's not working .

How was the starting BEFORE all this work was done. Why was the timing belt replaced.

possible timing belt slipped or broken.

check your fuel pump to see it it is functioning to see if your getting gas

Fail.. You mean the Crank Position Sensor.. not "CRACK" Sensor
