What would make my 2000 toyota carolla engine light came on and the car will die

The first thing you should do is find someone with a code reader and hook it up the OBD2 port underneath you dash and then you will have a pretty good idea whats going on.

Driver side window will not roll up or down on my 1992 Corolla. have you ever had this problem and how did you fix it?

you should open the door panel and check if the rolling motor is trying to roll at all, if it is then the teeth for rolling up is weak else then check the fuse for the motor

2000 Toyota Camry Window Problem

ok. here is how you fix the problem. first and most important you have to get *****. then you have to spin around in circles 5 to 10 times depending on the day of the week your car was made on. then you take the door panel off the car. after taking the door panel off the car touch your nose and spin around a few more time, just for good measure. then last call the dealer to come tow your POS away and buy an American car. That should fix all your issues.

2000 Toyota Camry Window Problem

Sorry to strike your hopes on this one, but it is not a fuse problem. If there was a blown fuse, the window motor would not get any voltage at all and would neither roll up nor down.

Now, the good news is that you can order an after-market window motor and regulator for a very reasonable price, for example just $44.95 delivered from www.AM-autoparts.com for your 2000 Camry. If you are just moderately handy, you can remove the interior door panel and replace the part yourself. Or, you can take it to an auto glass shop and they will replace it for you. The charge should be about one hour's labor.
