The electrical panel, just below the speedo and

2003 BMW X5 with on-board computer. The digital electrical panel, just below the speedo and tach has a bad section effecting the readout of odometer and other on-board computer messages. Seems to work fine sometimes and then a blank section will show at other times. the lcd's will light and go out if you watch them carefully (while in park of course). any ideas how to, or if possible to repair? MH
