Compressor has been replaced - full of freon--no power to low pressure switch light on control panel lights up
Is the fan running
2002~2005 Kia Sedona suffer from AC compressor hose collapse or kinks that literally cause the layers of the hose to internally delaminate, which cannot be seen unless you were to cut it open. The loose inner layer then gets sucked against the opposite side thereby totally obstructing the suction hose flow, a condition totally not visible to the outside. The result is destruction of either the compressor clutch or the compressor itself or both. Here is a link to an permanent fix sold only on eBay to eliminate the suction or low pressure hose from kinking or collapsing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=181880844799
Upon installtion, AC should be notably colder at lower pressure as pipe no longer constricted and with no kinks your compressor and AC clutch should last considerably longer as much less suction stress. Even a new KIA OEM suction hose immediatly kinks simply upon positioning to install it ... this custom hose design eliminates that problem.
