07 ford fusion on the move about 45 mph car started to studder and slow down an came to a stop , tries to crank but no go. good fuel strong battery , What could it be .
What could cause such a quick problem as that. like I said it just started to shutter and came to a stop , Oh! the engine light csme on just about 29 min: before, Can you help me

Not getting enough fuel. There are two coolant temperature sensors one for the gauge. one for the computer. the one to the computer monitors fuel. When it fails the engine is slow to start the first try and there is a strong odor of gasoline. The engine will run rough at some speeds and sometimes stall.
If there are no check engine lights could be a bad motor mount or two. Would have them checked. Try putting car in neutral and see if vibration disapates a little.
