Pull yours first and set it on the floor next to the one you purchased. Check them both thoroughly. Pull the flywheel off yours and put in on the new one. Brackets change from year to year, check bolt patterns. The engine is the same but you could run into trouble. It is easier to swap parts on the floor, than it is when the engine is installed. Also, check electrical sensor plugs. They change also.
Hey Joseph, the only thing may be the exhaust you will also need a jack to keep tranny stable, and yes it will be tight ,but it sounds like you got it, my hats off to you for doing your research first do your self a favor speend the 20.00 and get a repair manual it will save you more in the long run , and give you lots of future info. good luck to you.

Here's a thought. would it be easier to remove and install the engine and transmission connected as one piece?
not allways im not sure you can fit the transfer case out from under, you pull the drivr shaft and remove transnission crossmember to back up tranny a little then remove motor ,the other is you will need one big engine hoist to pull bout dew to the length unless you remove the front grill compleatly
