First ,check positive/negative battery cable terminals at the battery for corrosion, make sure cable connection is tight and clean. Check positive connection at starter for loose or corrsion. Negative bolts to front of engine on right side, make sure its tight, no damage, no corrsion. Electrical senter located on left fender. Use a circuit test light clipped to neagtive and probe for 12v on the buss-bar located center of fuse panel ( large red wire on back feeds this connection. I suspect your loosing circuit at starter, but thats just my first thought if you've already have eleminated the battery posts.

Why is battery draining ford 2002 Taurus SES

Remove negative cable from battery, connect a test light to negative terminal, opposite end off light to negative battery post. ( let sit for 3 to 5 minutes). Then start pulling fuses, when the light goes out that's your bad circuit. God-Bless! Its worth a try.

I have a 2007 tahoe that keeps having electrical issues. Replaced the battery numerous times, the on star module and the radio module, It keeps happening

Replacing random parts will not solve the problem. What exactly is the issue? Is the battery going dead? Something in the car staying on? What??

This happened to me two weeks ago, i tried to jump it and nothing, sor I repalced the battery. A few days later I got a flat, and told the service guy at the shop what happened. He checked the voltage on the "jump points" and told me the jump points weren't connected to the battery. I found out that if you need to jump this vehicle, remove the fuse block,a nd put the jumper cables directly on the battery. I spent 100 bucks on a new battery for nothing!!!

Lesson Learned: Chevy "Jump Points" make me want to jump off a bridge!
