How do I open my gas tank door if my remote or button inside dont work

Sounds like the door release actuator is sticking. Try lubricating the latch when the door is open. In addition to using the button on the dash, you should be able to open the door pulling the wire adjacent to the fuel door inside the trunk.

There will not be an opening for the fuel tank inside the car. This would be an enormous safety risk as you would have volatile fumes in side a confined space. May be you are wanting to open the filler door in the side of the car from inside the car which is a vastly different question

This is a wild guess, but it sounds like the switch that controls the door is constantly trying to open the door. It could be the door switch. Try locking the door with the door switch and then hold the lock slightly down to see if it is a mechanical failure in the switch. If not, the remote system may be sending the unlock. You could always pull the fuse for the automatic locks and see if the key will lock/unlock without problem. But then you'd never have remote entry.

Have you looked in the trunk on the side that the gas tank is on? There may be a fuel release switch. Couple of other things to try is to unlock all your doors from the inside of your car and/ or try pushing in and out on the gas door over and over until, hopefully, it triggers the device. Go inside your glove copartment and turn off the valet button located on the left hand side when yor open the glove compartment

there should be a pull cable located in the trunk on the side

There is no button to open the gas door from the inside of the car.  As long as the doors are unlocked, you should be able to push in the far right side of the gas door and the left side will pop open. I too spent hours looking for this non existent button..I went as far as to going back to the car dealership.

Hold both buttons the Open and the Lock on your remote key for about 60 seconds, it should turn the lights inside the car and the problem should be fixed.
It worked on my Honda Accord 2004

I had one gas door solenoid replaced under warranty. Since then I have just shot a bit of WD40 onto the post comng from the solenoid that holds the door closed. Do this at each oil change and the problems should stop.
