Is the engine cranking and not starting? Or is there no crank? When this occurs check if some lights (on the instrument panel) aren't lit when the key is turned to the on position!! If there is unlit lights **** as engine, abs, airbag etc. Its your ignition switch!!(there is a TSB recall on 1997-2000 hondas. Check your local honda dealer for info on this. Ignition switch failure is common on honda vehicles and usually gets worst in warmer weather.

Code P1139 popped up in my 2000 Honda Accord. Changed the 02 Censor and spark plugs. Check engine light still flashes and is miss firing somewhere. Won't turn over at all.

the code refers to the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) and not the O2 sensor which is a different sensor
It is a generic code and refers ti injector and fuel problems
The misfiring can be from injectors as well as plugs so check for fuel pressure and blocked fuel filter

2000 honda accord ex with code p0505

For a 2000 Honda Accord LX, the check engine code P1456 simply means that your gas cap is off or isn't tight enough. It wont go off immediately. It make take up to a weak for the check engine light to turn off once the gas cap is tightened enough.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
