Where is the freeze plug on a 2004 mazda 6i 4 cylinder?

Looks like Mazda and Ford used same engines on different models (Jaguar too) during your year. Try searching "xw4e-ba" (engine block code) in images. Might be just in front of oil filter.

SOURCE: The service shop left my oil cap off after an oil

I had the same problem finding a replacement oil cap after my husband left the cap off. The usual auto parts stores didn't have one that fit. I had to order the cap through the dealership. The problem was that Mazda changed the oil cap midway through the production year. Try oil caps from the years on either side of yours: if you have a 2004 vehicle, try getting a 2003 and 2005 oil cap.

bent or burned valve. head must come off for rebuild. not a do it yourself project. Good luck

Cylinder order

The firing order on all four cylinder engines is 1.3.4.2. and number one cylinder is at the opposite end of the engine to the gearbox, at the end with the belts and pulleys.

2004 mazda mvp firing order

The firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6. The cylinders are, front bank is from drivers side to passenger, 6-5-4 , and 3-2-1 at the firewall. This is for a 2004 Mazda MPV.
