well you have a dip stick like ware you put the oil in but do not put the transmission fluid in the oil dip stick ! it would be best to go and put a new filter in the transmission ! hope the transmission came with the dip stick ! you may have to get the one off the old one !
please read your owners manual most transmissions today are not serviceable if they leak you need to get it towed to the dealer or trans shop this info is in the manual hope this helps
I'm curious, what tool? What Plug? If you check the Haynes repair manual on the vehicle it shows to remove the transmission pan to drain the oil. Although the vehicle is new enough it might have the newer Permanent Filter that is simply flushed at a service I only know of one vehicle manufacturer that I have heard was using drain plugs in the transmissions. If you go to Auto Zone they are going to have the tool for sale or rent if it's a special tool if there is one. If they sell a seal and Filter Kit you drain it by removing the Transmission pan.
check really good , but odds are it might be a sealed transmission meaning it can only be serviced by the dealer or removing the pan and using a special tool on a special underside service port.

The only problem we have with the oil pan is that drain plug gasket leaks if not change out at oil changes. I replaced one pan due to threads coming out. But as for stress cracks, little fine lines, normal. They don't leak, leave it alone. Don Suzuki tech
