One thing to check is fuel flow - is your filter clean? Is there skuumm/dirt covering the intake filter within the fuel tank?

Check your EGR system, it should not be on when engine is cold. It may be time to clean the throttle body.

that code is the maf sensor I had the same problem but it went away like yours did only to return a month later. When I was looking this up it seems this is a problem with the winstar
