Hi my 96 Nissan mistrial airbag light won't turn off when on I'm pretty sure it's effecting my horn not to work. I also have a problem when driving like it doesn't want to change gear so I use overdrive to make it work some times

The air bag problem and the horn problem aren't likely connected.
You should always be driving in overdrive, but you likely have a vacuum line off that is causing the tranny problem.

I'm not sure if I explained it right but the truck seems like it doesn't want to change up . I ease foot off acclerater and domes it works or it will just keep reving in gear so I push overdrive in or out so it can change

That sounds like a torque converter problem. Drain the tranny fuild and look for metal shavings. Might need a rebuild.

1998 cadillac horn goes off randomly

Sounds like a bad horn button which is actually part of the airbag. Replace your airbag. They're cheap on e-bay and it's not hard to do. Just make sure you disconnect the battery before doing any airbag work.

Horn doesn't work, abs light on dash stays on and also cruise control does not work either

Typical reason for no cruise and horn is a bad clock spring underneath the airbag. Typically you have an airbag light on as well and not an abs light

Nissan horn constantly engaged while driving

This is caused by a defective horn contact pad, this may be part of the Airbag, if so the Airbag must be replaced to correct the problem.

I own a 2006 Nissan Titan .Last week I noticed my horn would not work while in drive, so I repalced the horn relay and it worked for a day or so.Now not only my horn is not working properly my air bag...

the contact point under the air bag is messing up, which also includes the horn contacts , Be sure if you decide to take this project on, and investigate , you do this, in this order,, remove the neg battery terminal off the battery , then the positive , and wait for 10 minutes before you do anything, that will give the airbag time to discharge,, when your totally done,, hook up everything in the reverse order

The horn on my 96 dodge ram does not work. Can't locate fuse or relay.

Is the airbag light on as well? These were under recall for a "Clock spring wiring kit" Its what sends signals for the airbag and horn, Call your local dodge dealer and do a recall check. You may get this fixed for free...

I have 1995 subaru airbag light is on and no

OK both of those components are in the wheel so the problem, most likely is in the wheel contacts.

The airbag light will stay on when the system checks at startup as there is an open circuit. The horn is not earthing either. I'm pretty sure the same problem is causing the fault in both. Unforunately at the moment, you're airbag is not functional so not only can't you beep your horn to wake up the on comming truck driver, your airbag will be still nicely folded up when they cut the car apart to get you out. Get the drift?

Firstly, diconnect the airbag fuse and remove the relay. You don't want that going off. Its hurts and expensive to replace. Remove the horn pad cover. Remove the airbag. check the wiring/contacts where the wheel goes through to the ignition wires that its still ok.

Diconnect the wires and undo the nut holding the wheel on but NOT all the way off. Pull the wheel off by belting it toward you from the back and gentle/hard persuasion. When it comes it comes fast so make sure that centre nut is still on a couple of turns or you'll wear the wheel for glasses. (I learnt this many years ago as a young kid the hard way)

With the wheel removed, check the copper ring and contacts that it hasn't worn away or carboned up. give both a clean with some metho then 800grit sandpaper. Ensure good contact when reinstalling. Plug the horn wiring back in a see if it works then continue reinstalling. (at this point you may want to take the horn fuse out to keep friendly with the neighbours) This should solve the airbag aswell?

I have a 96 dodge caravan my horn is not working and airbag light is on please help...

If your horn is not working and your airbag light is on, then your cruise control definitely is not working too. This is cause by a faulty "clockring" underneath the airbag on the steering wheel. There is a recall for this clockring, make sure you mention this to dealer otherwise you will be charged $250+. I own a 1996 Dodge Caravan SE, 3.0L and luckily I received a recall notice few weeks after I went to the dealer for a diagnostics of the problem. I wasn't ready to pay for this amount and I'm glad I got it fixed for free. Enjoy.
