At the front of the engine block. This should be easy to spot by popping open the hood, and looking at the front of the engine. At the front of the car frame, near the container that holds windshield washer fluid. At a rear wheel well. Try looking up, directly above the tire.Inside the driver-side doorjamb. Open the door, and look underneath where the side-view mirror would be located if the door was shut.At the driver-side doorpost. Open the door, and look near the spot where the door latches, not too far from the seatbelt return.Underneath the spare tire.

What digit in my vin number indicates transmission type for a ford aerostar 93 3.0 ? thank you

The VIN does not designate transmission type. You will need to get the information off of the transmission itself.

Location of VIN / chassis number on a 94 Ford Aerostar???

Vin is usually visible on drivers side front of dash where it meets windshield. To see it you will probably have to be on the outside of the vehicle looking in

Hi, In need of a radio code for my ford fiesta 03 plate. Seriel no: m683890

If you have proof of ownership, A Ford dealer can probably help you with the code based on vin number. While I am not familiar with Ford vin numbers the number you have given is not likely to be the to be the vin number that is on your registration or the driver door mfg, plate. The Ford dealer will look up the vin on their system to find the radio code, most likely for free.

Looking for vin number on a 1955 ford pick up where is it

Ford moved the "vin tag" around a lot in the 50-60s from door posts, door edge and glove box doors. I'm am not sure exactly when but by the late 50' and 60's ford also stamped the vin number on the frame. They were located on the passenger side about mid engine on the top of the frame rail and also on top of the frame on the same side underneath the cab. This was the secret vin that police and insurance companies looked for on stolen cars as they were not listed in the owners manual or common repair manuals. The one under the cab can be seen with a mirror but is not where it could be filled off or rest amped without removing the cab from the frame. I have restored a 58, 61,65 and 66 ford pickups and all of them had the vin on the frames. I have run across lots of trucks where they simply moves the glove box door or swapped doors to change the vin on a Ford truck or moved the metal I'd tag but it is seldom they remember the frame stamping of the vin. They also all had a star at the beginning and end of the stamping.

Where is the engine number located on a ford mustang engine 6cyl 2001?

For 2001 Ford Mustang 3.8L SFI 6cyl engine, with which your specific vehicle is equipped, can be most easily identified by the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), located on either the VIN tag, mounted in the upper left-hand corner of the instrument panel, or on the vehicle certification label, located on the driver-s side door pillar. The engine identifying code is the 8th digit of the VIN. The engine VIN codes are as follows:
