The only way your going to fix this is have someone with a up scale scan tool check an see what DTC's are stored in the ABS an engine modules an the 4x4 system ! The O2 sensor has nothing to do with the 4x4 ! An the ABS has nothing to do with the 4x4 not working either !
Four-Wheel Drive Systems - Electronic Shift Inspection and Verification - Electronic Shift

  1. Verify the customer concern.
  1. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.

Visual Inspection Chart Mechanical Electrical
  • Axle shafts and universal joints
  • Driveshaft and universal joints
  • Fluid leaks
  • Matching tire size
  • Battery junction box (BJB) fuses:
    • 17 (20A)
    • 18 (20A)
  • Central junction box (CJB) fuse 12 (5A).
  • 4WD control module
  • Wiring harness
  • MSS
  • Gearmotor encoder assembly
  • Connector(s)
  • Circuitry
  1. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
  1. If the concern is not visually evident, connect the diagnostic tool to the data link connector and select the vehicle to be tested from the diagnostic tool menu. If the diagnostic tool does not communicate with the vehicle:
  • check that the program card is correctly installed.
  • check the connections to the vehicle.
  • check the ignition switch position.
  1. If the diagnostic tool still does not communicate with the vehicle, refer to the diagnostic tool operating manual.
  1. Carry out the diagnostic tool data link test. If the diagnostic tool responds with:
  • SCP+, SCP-, UBP or ISO circuit fault; all electronic control units no response/not equipped, refer to Section 418-00 .
  • No response/not equipped for 4WD control module, Go To Pinpoint Test B .
  • System passed, retrieve and record the continuous diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), erase the continuous DTCs and carry out the 4WD control module self-test.
  1. If the DTCs retrieved are related to the concern, go to the 4WD Control Module Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Index - Electronic Shift to continue diagnostics.
  2. This is going to be way over your hear , unless you fix these systems on a regular bases ! An not to mention the tools involved , do yourself a favor an take it to a shop that has experience in these matters an save yourself time an money !

All four wheels are in drive when all four tires are green. Could also be in f wheel drive low. 4x4 low is talked about also at the end of the video. You do not want to be driving at high speeds in 4x4 low, at lease with the 4x4 I have owned.

Diff ratio. On a 1994 toyota 4 runner v6 petrol ??

4x4, 4 cyl, 4.10 ratio, ABS 4x4, 4 cyl, 4.10 ratio, w/o ABS
4x4, 4 cyl, 4.56 ratio, ABS 4x4, 4 cyl, 4.56 ratio, w/o ABS
4x2 (3.90 ratio), 2 wheel ABS 4x2 (3.90 ratio),
4 wheel ABS 4x4, 6 cyl, 2 wheel ABS, 4.30 ratio
4x4, 6 cyl, 2 wheel ABS, 4.56 ratio 4x4, 6 cyl, 2 wheel ABS, 4.88 ratio 4x4,
6 cyl, 4 wheel ABS, 4.30 ratio 4x4, 6 cyl, 4 wheel ABS, 4.56 ratio
4x4, 6 cyl, 4 wheel ABS, 4.88 ratio there are a few options. you will need to figure it out or look at the code panel in the truck. if you want to figure it out. you will need to remove the cover from that axle and count the two ring gears and then divide the numbers to get the gear ratio. for example if one is 40 and the other was 11. would be 3.72. so here is the trick to counting the gears. they are covered in oil so have a pan ready when you pull the cover. and use a marker or crayon and mark a tooth on the gear ring. then count the gears and you will know where to stop when you get back to your mark. the little gear will be harder since its in the back. you might have to turn the wheels and you will need it in neutral and jack the rear end up. as always use jack stands to prevent damage to you or the truck..

1993 4X4 BLASER 4WHEEL DRIVE

Your blazer is equipped with a shift on the fly four wheel drive. That means that at speeds less than fifteen miles per hour you can shift into or out of four wheel drive by simply pushing the four wheel high button. If you wish to shift into four wheel low. Stop, put the transmission into park or neutral, and push the four wheel low button. Same procedure for shifting back out. Never shift into or out of four wheel low while moving. And be careful in four wheel low. At full throttle your still barely moving, you don't want to blow your engine up!

4x4 won't engage

I have to stop, engage 4H or 4L, and shift into nuetral and then the front gear box will then engage and you can hear it from nuetral and the engine at idle, it will slip into gear, if not, in gear go slow with 4x4 light "on" and while rolling slip into nuetral and then back into D, Some transfer cases will not engage in Overdrive, the D with a circle around it so shift into 3rd gear the one to the right of the D with a circle around it. 4 H has a speed limit, and do not shift into 4L while on pavement or you can do some damage.
