More then likely you need front brakes ! There is a fluid level sensor in the master cylinder an when brake pads get worn the piston in the caliper pushes out more making the brake fluid level go down an turning on the light !This is done for a reason, so you take your vehicle an have it checked out !Most people just fill it with brake fluid so the light goes out , then they end up eating the brake rotors ! Or you could have a leak in the hydraulic system somewhere , turning on the light ! Have you seen any puddles under your car ? Or the light comes on with the parking brake ! You don't have a ABS light on too ?

When the wavy light is on with parenthasis around it and at the same time the (!) and (P) lights are on, this indicates a serious brake concern

The flashing key-inside-a-car means the anti-theft system is working properly. On page 84 of the 2009 Prius owners manual, the explanation indicates that a flashing key-inside-a-car is normal, and is desired. It should extinguish when the automobile is operating. It may be distracting, but it's a good thing!!

It should be letting you know that you have a tire pressure problem. If you still have the owners manual read it. It will explain what to do, what to look for and how to reset the light if need be.
SOURCE: How do you replace the brake lights?
Open the hatch and look at the back of the brake light assembly, you will see 2 plastic disks with a little slot in the bottom, insert a flat screwdriver into the slots and pop these disks off, they pop off easily Under the disks are phillips head screws, remove both screws Now, you can't see them, but there are 2 pins built into the brake light assembly which extend into sockets in the body of the car, to remove the assembly, wiggle the entire assembly and push outward TO THE SIDE, NOT toward you, this will wiggle the pins free and the entire assembly will come free once the assembly is free you will see 3 plugs, the top 2 are the brake light bulbs, twist the plugs 1/4 turn and pull them out, now you can see the bulbs, just pull them out and replace them
