Was the battery disconnected for any reason before this happened or did you have electrical work of any kind done on your car it could be that and the key your using has been erased or the chip is failing or did you reset the alarm if the battery was disconnected if you did not that's what's wrong disconnect both cables for 5 minutes then reconnect them - first then the +when the alarm goes off press the remote control to disarm it then get in close the doors and try to start it the alarm could be in theft mode and is saying that because it needs to be reset the car will never start once the alarm has been triggered and this might be a fuse that disconnected and you did not know it press them all in inside the car and under the hood at the power distribution box including all the relays post back with results good luck stephen

the security system has issue--put key on position and waity 10 min-then try startn--if nuthn then disconnect batt and see if vehicle reboots--key slot or ignition switch may be bad--a scan can indicate the problem area
This problem must be handled by the dealership. The PAT's system is on and the only way to turn it off now is with the dealership computer through the OBDII diagnostic link.
The PATs system is detecting your key as the wrong key. You may have to have a new key programed for the car if the key was damaged.
