If the fan goes out on a 2007 pt cruiser could it go into limp mode

Fans on PT Cruisers are a common problem. A good way to check to see if the fan is bad is to turn on air conditioner on and the fan should run, if noy then fan could be bad.

SOURCE: 2007 pt cruiser in limp mode.

I don't think that no freon in the system would cause this. The a/c just would no work.

well first you do need to get freeon cans you can find them at Walmart. Preferably Auto Zone. After that you need to insert them by using the appropriate equipment.

Pretty much the connector goes up from the pump goes up towards the hood hinge and splits off via a joiner to the windshield nozzles.

Have a 2007 PT Cruiser and just put a motor and transmission in it. Drove it maybe 30 times and had no problem. One day drove it and the car stays in 2nd gear.

2007 pt cruiser alarm goes off in cold weather

Batteries voltage fluctuates with temperature. Your battery could be discharging due to the cold to the point where the alarm doesn't see enough power to be on and ready, like in standby mode. I'd recommend getting your battery tested. You may need to charge or replace it.
