As steering leaks are normally obvious at full lock, I am assuming your question concerns fluid going missing with no obvious reason? A ruptured suspension sphere diaphragm would be a likely way to loose fluid without pools forming on the floor as the hydraulic reservoir feeds more than the steering.

Have a Lincoln Cont. 1999 that eats power steering , does not leak out any where, but smells like its being burnt. Where does it go and how to fix ?

there has to be a leak if you are continually topping up the steering fluid.check the power steering lines closely for leak it may just be a pinhole leak.if this has rack&pinion steering check the bellows(rubber boots on either side of the rack)the fluid could be leaking into the boots past the inner seals.if it is then the rack will have to be replaced and an alignment done.check the power steering pump for any leaks as well.if it has conventional steering check the steering box seals for leaks and the hoses as well.

Power stearing leak

All depends what is leaking. For power steering leaks there is not much to do but replace the leaking part. If it is a hose it is not a big deal. If it is the power steering pump itself check autozone, etc for availability. They'll probably have to order it in for you. Sometimes you luck out and the leak is due to a seal where a hose is screwed into the pump or the rack and pinion unit. I believe some auto parts places carry stop leak for power steering units but I have no experience with them. One last thought is if the car is pretty old and the leak a slow one, you just check your power steering fluid periodically because you can buy a whole lot of power steering fluid for the price you'll pay for a power steering pump. You can also consider a replacement from a junk yard. Generally power steering pumps out last the cars they are put in.
