Hello. It seems your vehicle has a 'shorting/malfunctioning turn signal switch and/or 'grounding' wires in the wiring harness. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.
Your vehicle does not have relay switch ! Fuel pump controlled by a fuel pump driver control module . ( computer ) Who ever told you that it needed a fuel is probably wrong !
Malfunction indicator lamp lit ???????
What code ?

Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) - Circuit Malfunction Possible Cause:
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Non Emission Fault - No warning light.

Vehicle speed sensor (VSS).
Engine control module (ECM).
Its a fualty sending unit. Unfortunately its part of the fuel pump which is in the fuel tank. The only way to fix it is to replace the fuel pump assembly.
Was the problem fixed? If not, the lamp will continue to come on until the problem is fixed.
Take your car to your local Auto Zone and ask them to perform a diagnostic test on the vehicle. They can tell you which system is failing and some ideas on how to fix it. The service is at no cost and only takes a couple of minutes.
Good luck.
The check engine light also called the malfunction indicator comes only when the computer control unit (called the PCM) senses a fault in the electronic controls of the engine and/or the emission system, there are about 200 possible faults that turn the light on, to know what has developed a problem you must have the system tested, this is called an OBD2 fault code test, Kragen and Autozone parts stores do this testing for free.
go to autozne and have them do free engine computer scan. They will tell you fault codes.
Or, try disconnecting the battery for 1/2 hour. Then reconnect and drive 10 miles. It may have fixed itself already.
MIL light on is not a big issue. only if flashing
