Bad ignition switch, replace with new under warranty. Take it back to who ever did it if you had a shop do the work. Something is shorting in the switch.
After the ignition switch is replaced the car won't start with the reason that the new switch has to be re-learned manually or with the help of diagnostic computer.
Manual learning procedure: PLEASE DO AS DIRECTED.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (Engine off)
- Try to start the engine and leave the switch to ON position. (At this stage car will not start).

You have not got the ignition wire connected somehwere. On start-up the engine is receiving power through the ballast by-pass which cuts out when in the run position, the new switch could also be faulty.
The security interlock on the ignition switch goes bad. The ignition switch needs replaced. (about $35 from the dealer) It takes about 30 minutes to replace and another 30 minutes to "learn" your key. The car locks out for 10 minutes when it fails so if you look in th emanual there is a procedure to override the lockout but it won't work for 10 minutes. Google the problem there are procedures for the switch replacement and learning the key with the new ignition switch.
