The starter has a thing called a starter drive. It operates with a over running clutch that is a safety that keeps it from over speeding when still engaged with a started engine. That drive needs replaced, the clutch is bad.

Check for low Freon....Pressure Switch in the Acumalator is what latches the Compressor Clutch Relay ....Low side line should sweat all the way back to the compressor when full....Never apply voltage to Clutch or other components as This system is pressurized and explosion and frostbite hazard exist....Always wear safety glasses as well.........The system will have to be evacuated to change the afore mentioned pressure switch....Be careful.........

You don't need the clutch switch. You need an ignition switch. A part in the switch is stuck on the start position, even though the key moves.

You are some how putting power to the switch side of the solenoid on the fire wall. Take a test light and check the S switch side of the solenoid, it should only be hot when the key switch is turned on. It you have crossed this wire inside them you may be making this wire hot all the time. I would re check how you wired your radio.

Things to check are the clutch safety switch and the start relay. Use a volt/ohmmeter to interrogate the relay socket. From there, you can see if the signal is getting past the clutch switch. You can also start the car from the relay socket, if the downstream circuit is good. Make sure the car is in neutral before getting into the relay socket.

possible starter, tap on the starter solenoid then try to start, if it starts then you know for sure it's going to have to be replaced

it is your throw out bearing and the clutch should be replaced at the same time as the trowout bearing
