When I started a 84 corvette with crossfire injection. One throttle body had stopped working and then shortly there after the other has stopped working. I have replaced the fuel pump and pump relay. Any thoughts on the problem? Thanks in advance for your help.

the iac sensor is along the side of throttle body , did you give the throttle plate area a good cleaning out this is where the air path is for the IAC sensor , a lot of idle problems have been fixed with a can of throttle body cleaner and few good squirts of the stuff down the hole
Yea , those crossfire injection vettes can be a bear sometimes . I had dealings with them 84-85 - 86 working as a tech at a chevy dealer . Don't remember much about them , haven't heard anything about them for long time .
How's the fuel pressure ? Have you put a fuel gauge on it ? I would imagine you don't have a Tech 1 scan tool ? What's the map sensor voltage at idle ?
The 1984 model could be throttle body injected or a regular 4 barrel carb. The GT model is supposed to have a carb. CFI is central fuel injection which is like TBI. The throttle body has two injectors mounted in the center, one for each bank. If it has a carb you may have some adjustments you can make. If it is fuel injected you don't. The computer monitors the engine temp and exhaust gas to regulate fuel mixture.
Is your cat. convertor blocking up? If it is this condition, it could very well be the problem. Disconnect the convertor start the car & see if it takes the gas well. If it does, change the cat. convertor. Good luck!
Jim; have you confirm the fuel pum[ is working? If it is, you should get something out of the fuel rail. Sadly. Pump is a dealer recommended repair cause the pump is more than likely in the fuel tank. Thry should changre you filter at the same time.
